Sixty-five percent of buyers recently surveyed said they\u2019d make an offer within three days of viewing it if they\u2019re interested. Twenty percent say they\u2019d make an offer immediately, according to Bank of America\u2019s new <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.bankofamerica.com\/content\/dam\/newsroom\/docs\/2022\/2022%20Homebuyer%20Insights%20Report%20-%20Navigating%20a%20Competitive%20Market.pdf\">2022 Homebuyer Insights Report<\/a><span>, based on about 2,000 responses.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>Homes spent an average of 17 days on the market in March. Eighty-seven percent of homes sold in March were on the market for less than a month, according to National Association of Realtors<\/span><span><span><span><span><span>\u00ae<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><span>\u00a0data.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>Higher home prices and mortgage rates are straining buyers\u2019 budgets. A home is often the most expensive purchase people make in their lifetime. Buyers are finding they have to budget wisely or increase the amount of money they can devote toward homeownership.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span><span><span>Some buyers say they\u2019ve had to moonlight or take on freelance work to try to earn more money.
