ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Realtors® is encouraging its members to take advantage of the valuable resources available for crucial cleanup and recovery efforts as Hurricane Helene continues to impact the state.

Florida Realtors updated its Hurricane Recovery Resources for Realtors webpage with information that covers a variety of topics:

The Florida Realtors Disaster Relief Fund (DRF) is available to Realtors, Realtor boards/associations and staff whose primary residential home or real estate office sustain damages due to the storm. Business and individual damage applications for Hurricane Helene will be accepted until March 26, 2025. The DRF is accepting applications for other severe weather events as well.

The Florida Realtors/Florida Bar contract has clauses that deal with casualty and bad-weather events. Read about the top four in the AS IS contract.

Florida Realtors is also asking Realtors who are able donate to the Disaster Relief Fund to help your Realtor family as they navigate the aftermath of the storm.

Donations may be completed securely online with a credit card. Or, if you prefer to mail in a tax-deductible donation, please make your check payable to “Florida Realtors Disaster Fund, attention Dave Garrison,” and send the check to:
