CHICAGO – Florida Realtors CEO Margy Grant was among the three National Association of Realtors® association executives nationwide inducted into the Dr. Almon R. (Bud) Smith, RCE, AE Leadership Society for their contributions to the industry and profession.
Grant and the other recipients – Denver Metro Association of Realtors CEO Brendan Bailey and Jefferson City Area (Missouri) Board of Realtors CEO Donna Stone – demonstrate uncommon leadership, a willingness to help others and acceptance of a responsibility to constantly improve themselves, NAR said. Margy Grant was inducted into NAR’s Dr. Almon R. (Bud) Smith, RCE, AE Leadership Society for her outstanding leadership and a willingness to help others.
“I am honored to be named to this society beside these incredibly distinguished alumnae,” said Grant. “As an AE in the Realtor family, we are in the trenches with our members and have the privilege of being able to ‘fight the good fight’ alongside them every day. I am truly humbled by this recognition.”
To be considered for induction into the Smith Society, nominees must demonstrate they have brought credit to the profession of association management through their personal involvement in advancing the purposes of the organization at the local, state and national level; provided leadership in ways that have benefited the organization, the members or other association executives; or made other significant contributions that have advanced their organization in meaningful ways.
“Much like a fellows program, members will play an active, ongoing role as innovators and mentors for the AE community. It is also conferred in recognition of the honoree’s ongoing commitment to the advancement of REALTOR® association management and anticipated future contributions.
