93% of candidates endorsed by Florida Realtors’ Political Action Committee (PAC) won their respective races in the Nov. 8 election.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida can expect continued growth and prosperity in the years ahead thanks to 93% of Florida Realtors® PAC-endorsed candidates winning their elections on Tuesday.

In many cases, Realtors ran for office and won. Following the final tally of votes for all Florida races, 12 Realtors and Realtor affiliate members were elected or reelected to office. 

“Congratulations to all our victorious candidates on their election success,” says Danny Nix, 2022 chair of the Florida Realtors PAC Trustees. “Despite the economic woes of the nation, Florida continues to grow and communities throughout the state are benefiting from this prosperity. We look forward to working with all newly elected and re-elected candidates to ensure this success continues.”

Amendment 3

A majority of Floridians voted for Amendment 3, a changed backed by Florida Realtors to give an additional property tax deduction to teachers, law enforcement officers, correctional officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, child welfare services professionals and others.

However, the amendment garnered 58% of the vote and, as an amendment to the Florida constitution, needed 60% to pass.
